Hosted in Europe

Git Lisa is built entirely on European and European-privacy aligned services. We use European-owned services as far as possible. Sometimes we have a good reason to use a non-European service. In these cases we use services which are congruent with the GDPR even though they may not legally have to comply to GDPR.

We do not use any services which are based in the US or have US ownership in their lineage. The reason for the this is that US companies have to comply to the US CLOUD Act under which they may be forced to provide any of the data to which they have access, even if that data does not belong to them or their direct customers.
